About Jorge

Jorge has always been passionate about having a positive impact on people. For this reason, he co-founded an organization that advocates using technology to encourage civic participation in order to improve communication among citizens and their institutions. Jorge is an Electronics Engineer from Monterrey’s Tec University. He comlemte his graduate studies program at Singularity University in 2013. He constantly speaks about wanting to improve the way Cancer is treated and detected; as well as his intent to design effective methods to achieve such goal. That’s why in 2013 he co-founded mirOculus, a company that uses a non-invasive, approachable and faultless test to identify the presence of different types of cancer at an early stage. Since then he works as the Deputy General Director of Civic Innovation for the President’s Office in Mexico. Jorge is an Endeavor Global entrepreneur, a World economic Forum Technology Pioneer, and a Global Shaper.
